I created Web Designs, followed by a more appropriately named The Internet Design Firm, also known as TIDF. All of the entities were start-up companies I built from the ground up with no outside capital through direct sales. Growing TIDF to 9 employees, we sold, developed, managed and maintained hundreds of customer accounts for website development and maintenance, and I personally lead many of the projects. I created direct mail marketing and outbound call campaigns for new business and I fostered referral relationships to further grow the company’s client base. I became a trusted advisor when working with clients and would often be consulted for advice on business development decisions involving Internet technologies.
